The “Minimal Pairs” worksheet is an engaging resource designed to enhance students’ phonemic awareness and word recognition skills through the exploration of minimal pairs.

Their task is to determine whether the missing vowel sound should be a short “i” or a long “e.” Once they’ve made their choice and completed the word, they will categorize it under the appropriate column: “Short i Words” or “Long e Words.”
