Trace, Write, and Paste
Worksheet Description
This worksheet is focused on the letter ‘Gg’, providing a multi-step activity for learning to write it. At the top, there’s a section labeled “Trace it” with several examples of both uppercase ‘G’ and lowercase ‘g’ for students to trace over. Below this, the “Write it” section offers blank lines for students to practice writing the letter ‘Gg’ on their own. At the bottom, there’s a “Paste it” section with boxes where students can paste cut-outs of the letter ‘Gg’, which are provided at the bottom of the worksheet.
The worksheet is teaching students the formation of both the uppercase and lowercase versions of the letter ‘G’. Tracing activities help to develop muscle memory and fine motor skills necessary for writing. The writing section allows students to practice independently, which can build their confidence in their writing abilities. The cut-and-paste activity not only reinforces letter recognition but also helps improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills through the use of scissors and glue.
