Where I Landed

Where I Landed Worksheet

Worksheet Description

This worksheet features a sequence of colored blocks vertically aligned with instructions for a movement-based activity. At the bottom of the column of blocks is a “START” point, and each instruction tells the student to move a certain number of blocks up or down from the start or their last position. After each move, the student is prompted to write down the color they land on in a blank box corresponding to each instruction. This setup combines color recognition with understanding of directional movement.

The worksheet is designed to teach students how to follow sequential instructions and understand the concepts of “up” and “down” in a practical task. It also incorporates color identification, as students must recognize and name the color of the block they land on after each move. The activity strengthens comprehension skills by requiring students to interpret the instructions and apply them to the movement on the blocks. Moreover, it engages their cognitive skills in sequence processing and their ability to translate abstract instructions into concrete actions.
