Worksheet Description

Students examine twenty rows of words and locate the one misspelled choice in each row. The other five words are correct, which means the error may be hard to notice at first. Students circle the incorrect word and rewrite it properly on the line beside the row. The showdown format challenges them to prove that they can separate correct spellings from convincing mistakes.

This worksheet develops strong proofreading skills because students must inspect every word carefully.
