Clocks and Clips

Clocks and Clips Worksheet

Worksheet Description

This follows the same procedure as the last worksheet.  You will work with clocks, notebooks, pencil sharpeners, and paper clips.

This worksheet is a cut-and-paste activity where students must associate the correct word with its corresponding image. There are four images of common items: a paperclip, a sharpener, a notebook, and a clock. Below these images, there are labels with the names of these items written on them, and dashed lines around each label suggest that students should cut out the labels. The students’ task is to carefully cut out the words and paste them under the correct image to show the item’s name.

The worksheet’s aim is to reinforce the students’ vocabulary related to everyday objects, particularly those they may encounter in a school setting. It helps them to make visual connections between an item and its written name, enhancing their reading and word recognition skills. The cutting and pasting element of the activity also serves to develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Engaging in this task provides a tactile learning experience that can be particularly beneficial for young students who are kinesthetic learners.
