A Former President

Presidents Day #12

Worksheet Description

This Presidents’ Day worksheet is designed as a research organizer for students to use as they learn about a former U.S. President. The organizer is divided into four sections, each dedicated to different aspects of a president’s life and contributions. At the top, there’s a space for the student’s name, followed by the title “Presidents’ Day” and the directions, which instruct students to complete the organizer for a chosen U.S. President.

The first large box on the left is labeled “Who was he?” providing space for students to write about the president’s identity, including his name and significant personal background information. Adjacent to this box, on the right, is a narrower column titled “Key Events/Role” where students can list major events and the president’s roles during his term in office. Below, two additional boxes are labeled “Childhood,” for details on the president’s early years, and “Interesting Facts,” for any unique or lesser-known information about the president. This layout helps students organize their findings and thoughts in a clear and structured way, promoting an in-depth understanding of the president’s life and impact on the country.
