This activity will help students practice identifying nouns and distinguishing them from other word types. In this worksheet, students will cut out a list of words provided and paste them into two columns: “NOUN” or “NOT.” The “NOUN” column is where they will place words that are indeed nouns, while the “NOT” column is for words that are not nouns.

By engaging in this hands-on activity, students will develop a better understanding of what constitutes a noun and strengthen their ability to differentiate nouns from other parts of speech.
