Inside and Out

Inside and Out Worksheet

Worksheet Description

This worksheet presents a series of images where students must identify which ones correctly depict the positions ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ as stated in the questions above each pair of images. There are three sets of images: one set shows a dolphin with one image of it in the water and another showing it leaping out of the water; another set shows a box of crayons with one image depicting the crayons inside the box and another with the crayons beside the box; the last set shows a dog with one image of it inside a doghouse and another of it outside. Students are expected to mark the image that corresponds correctly to the question posed, such as “Which picture shows the dolphin outside the water?”

The worksheet aims to reinforce the understanding of the prepositions ‘inside’ and ‘outside’ by associating them with visual representations. It helps students practice their ability to differentiate between objects that are located within a boundary and those that are not. The activity also develops observation skills, as students must carefully examine each image to determine the correct position of the subjects. Furthermore, this exercise encourages independent thinking as children select the appropriate image that answers each question accurately.
