Lamps and Cars

Lamps and Cars Worksheet

Worksheet Description

This worksheet contains two sections, each featuring a different set of images with two options: “In front” and “Behind.” The first set shows a table lamp, and the second displays a car with a bicycle behind it. For each set, the student is prompted with a question about the location of the main object (“Where is the lamp?” and “Where is the car?”) and must tick the correct box corresponding to the position of the main object relative to the other items shown.

The purpose of the worksheet is to teach students to identify and understand the spatial concepts of “in front” and “behind” by observing the relative positions of objects. It encourages students to pay close attention to the placement of items in each image and make a judgment about their spatial relationship. This exercise also aims to develop students’ ability to follow written instructions and apply newly learned prepositional vocabulary. Through this task, children are expected to increase their spatial awareness and their understanding of how to describe the location of objects in relation to one another.
