Grouping Them

Grouping Them Worksheet

Worksheet Description

This worksheet provides a series of food illustrations along with their names, such as biscuits, watermelon, grilled meat, wholemeal bread, and others, and invites students to categorize them as either healthy or unhealthy. Two columns at the bottom of the worksheet, labeled “Healthy Food” and “Unhealthy Food,” serve as spaces for students to write the names of the foods according to the category they believe each food belongs to. The exercise encourages students to analyze each food item based on their understanding of nutrition. Additionally, there’s a “How Did You Do?” section at the bottom for students to rate their satisfaction with their performance by coloring one of three emoticons.

The worksheet is designed to educate students on the concepts of healthy and unhealthy eating habits by distinguishing between foods that are generally considered nutritious and those that are not. It teaches students to identify and classify foods based on their nutritional value, promoting awareness of diet choices. The task enhances critical thinking and decision-making skills related to food and health. The self-evaluation section encourages students to reflect on their choices and develop the ability to assess their own understanding and judgments.
