Empathy #7

Worksheet Description

This worksheet, titled “How Could You Show Empathy?” is designed to engage students in thinking about empathetic actions in response to different scenarios.

The activity sheet features four images, each depicting a character in a situation that might evoke sympathy or concern: an elderly person in a wheelchair, a child crying, a dog with its head down, and an injured bird. Below each image is a blank space for students to write down how they could show empathy in each situation, encouraging them to think about practical ways to express understanding and care.

The aim of the worksheet is to help students develop the ability to recognize when empathy is needed and to consider appropriate responses. It encourages the development of social and emotional skills by asking students to put themselves in another’s position and to think of kind actions or words that would be comforting.

This exercise not only helps students to become more mindful and compassionate individuals but also teaches them that there are many ways to express empathy, and that even small gestures can make a significant difference in someone’s life.
