Imagine you’re a young fashion designer sharing your thoughts about school clothes! Write a story about a school where students have to wear specific clothes called a “dress code.”

Some people think dress codes make schools look neat and serious. Others think students should wear whatever they like to show their personalities.

What do you think? In your story, talk about how students feel when they have to follow a dress code. Do they feel proud, or do they wish they could wear something else?

Think about how dress codes might help everyone focus on learning, or how they might stop people from expressing themselves. Write an adventure that tells us if dress codes improve or hurt a school, and what you would choose if you were in charge!
