What’s the Total
Worksheet Description
This worksheet is a counting activity where students are prompted to count a set of objects and record the total number. There are several rows, each containing a different number of objects, such as suns, horses, birds, and bananas. The students’ task is to count the items in each group and write the total in the blank line provided next to each group. Below the counting activity, there is a section where students can evaluate their own performance by circling one of three emoticons, ranging from smiling to frowning.
The worksheet is aimed at helping students practice their counting skills and enhance their ability to recognize and write numbers. It encourages attention to detail and accuracy as they count each item in the groups. This activity also aids in developing fine motor skills through the act of writing numbers. The self-evaluation at the bottom is designed to help students reflect on their learning experience and to self-assess their level of understanding and confidence in the task they have completed.
