How Others Shape Us

How Others Shape Us

Worksheet Description

This Character Traits worksheet encourages students to explore character traits within the context of their relationships with others. It prompts students to consider both the traits of the person they spend time with and how that interaction impacts their own traits.

Students begin by naming someone they spend a lot of time with and identifying four main character traits of that person.

They are then asked to reflect on positive and negative interactions with that person, identifying the character traits displayed during enjoyable moments and conflicts.

The worksheet also guides students to consider how their own character traits are influenced by their interactions with this person, both in terms of positive traits they may exhibit and less desirable traits that may emerge.

This exercise fosters self-awareness, empathy, and a deeper understanding of the complex interplay of character traits in relationships.
