Pressure Makes Diamonds

Worksheet Description

This is an old graphic organizer that a few of our teachers swear by.  The inner core is where you place your main topic or challenge for students to tackle. You then fan out from there to make it more succinct and attempt to get out as much information as you can about it.

The Brainstorming worksheet presented here is a visual organization tool designed to help structure thoughts and ideas around a central topic. The page is dominated by a prominent central square, which is the focal point for the topic at hand. This central square is framed by a larger square, creating a sense of structure and boundary for the brainstorming process. Extending from each side of the inner square are lines that divide the page into four larger triangles, providing spaces where ideas that relate to, contrast, or expand upon the central theme can be recorded.

This layout is particularly useful for detailed exploration of a topic, allowing for a comprehensive approach that considers multiple perspectives and aspects. The design encourages a systematic breakdown of ideas, which is essential for thorough analysis and planning in various settings.
