In a bibliography, an annotation is extra information about a text. An annotation can make a meaningful comment, explain something, or even pose a question. An annotated bibliography is a bibliography that includes an annotation with each listed source. The annotations in a bibliography can describe the source; summarize the source; evaluate the source; or any combination of these. Use this worksheet to evaluate the sources.
