Who Am I?

Who Am I?

Worksheet Description

Students will cut out the pictures and names of the animals and paste them next to the following descriptions.  The descriptions include the following:

  • I am a huge animal
  • I have veery big horns
  • I have a very thick skin
  • I have a huge tribe

The worksheet challenges students to identify an animal based on a series of descriptive clues provided. Four distinct characteristics of a specific animal are listed, each hinting at its identity. At the bottom of the page, there are images of four possible animals: a Wildebeest, a Moose, a Gazelle, and a Rhinoceros. The students’ task is to determine which of these animals best matches the described characteristics and indicate their choice.

To address this activity effectively, students should start by reading each of the four descriptive clues carefully. After understanding each hint, they should evaluate the images of the four animals provided. By comparing the attributes of each animal to the clues, students can deduce which animal is being described. Once they determine the correct match, they should mark or circle the corresponding animal image or write its name in the space provided.

This worksheet aims to enhance students’ analytical and deductive reasoning skills by prompting them to make connections between descriptive clues and visual representations. By evaluating each hint in relation to the available animal options, students exercise their observation and comparison abilities. Furthermore, the activity introduces students to specific characteristics of certain animals, enriching their knowledge about wildlife. The sheet not only tests their current understanding of animals but also encourages critical thinking in a fun and engaging manner.
