Comparisons to Ancient China

Worksheet Description

You will compare another ancient civilization of your choice to Ancient China.

Here is an example for you:

China and Mongolia are two neighboring countries with rich histories and distinct cultures.

Both China and Mongolia have ancient civilizations that developed independently over time. The Chinese civilization has a longer history, with evidence of early human settlements dating back to around 1.7 million years ago, while the Mongol civilization developed later, around the 4th century BCE.

In ancient China, society was organized into a hierarchical system based on a rigid social structure with an emperor at the top. In contrast, the ancient Mongols were nomadic and organized into tribes with a system of chiefs or khans who governed them.
