Harbor Helpers

Harbor Helpers Worksheet

Worksheet Description

Students complete six harbor passages by selecting worker words from a shared word bank. Each paragraph describes a different part of harbor life, including festival preparation, dock decorating, gardening, science learning, performances, and newspaper reporting. Students must choose the correctly spelled -er word that fits each blank and use every word once. The passages place job vocabulary inside connected, meaningful situations.

This worksheet helps students use worker words in full paragraphs instead of studying them by themselves. They must think about the meaning of the passage, the job being described, and the correct spelling of the answer. Tracking a shared word bank also develops organization and careful checking. This strengthens vocabulary, comprehension, spelling, and correct word use in context.

This worksheet is part of our words ending in er worksheet series.
