Science Context

Science Context Worksheet

Worksheet Description

Students read eight short science passages and identify two missing words in each one. The passages describe mixtures, magnets, robots, crystals, microscopes, rockets, static electricity, and solar machines. Students use details from each experiment or invention to determine the best words and spell them correctly. They then record the answers in numbered boxes at the bottom of the page.

This worksheet helps students use scientific meaning to figure out unfamiliar or missing vocabulary. Reading several connected sentences gives more clues than a single short example. The activity also shows how correct spelling matters when describing experiments and observations. This builds science vocabulary, comprehension, spelling recall, and careful reading.
