Time Postcards

Worksheet Description

Students complete six imaginary postcards from places such as an ice castle, jungle ruins, a candy kingdom, and an underwater city. Each postcard includes one sentence about yesterday and another about what is happening right now. Students change the root word into an -ed form for the completed action and an -ing form for the current action. The travel theme gives every pair of sentences a fun and easy-to-follow setting.

This worksheet helps students clearly compare past and present actions. Time words such as yesterday and right now guide them toward the correct ending and make the grammar rule easier to understand.
