Worksheet Description

Students read twenty sentences and locate one misspelled advanced term in each one. The sentences cover government, journalism, law, research, business, history, and public discussion. Students circle each incorrect word and rewrite it properly on the answer line. The pulse-check theme asks them to test the health of every sentence and repair its spelling problem.

This worksheet helps students proofread vocabulary while paying attention to sentence meaning. They learn to recognize errors that can hide inside long words that still look almost correct.
