Worksheet Description

Students read a group text conversation in which autocorrect has misspelled many important words. They use the meaning of each message to figure out the correct spelling and then rewrite all twelve problem words. The conversation includes school-based vocabulary connected to projects, experiments, appointments, cooperation, and classroom responsibilities. Students finish by writing their own text message with two corrected spelling words and adding a matching emoji.
